We created Do Epic Sht* for the women who are doing it all — running businesses, raising babies, building dreams, and trying not to lose their minds in the process.
This podcast is a space for real talk, raw stories, and radical honesty. No filters, no fluff — just truth, grit, and a whole lot of humor. We’re here to remind you that you're not alone, you’re not crazy, and you’re absolutely capable of doing epic sh*t in your life, business, and everything in between.
WHY WE LAUNCHED THE PODCAST
We saw a gap — between what women are really going through behind the scenes… and what’s actually being talked about.
We wanted to normalize the hard stuff:

HOW IT STARTED
It all started with two best friends — Colleen and Kim — sitting in a driveway after a long day of showings, soccer games, and client calls.
Like most of our best conversations, this one wasn’t planned. We weren’t trying to be inspirational — we were just venting, laughing, and being 100% ourselves. And in that moment, we realized:
“THIS is what more women need to hear.”
We were tired of the highlight reel. We wanted to create a place where women could hear the real stories — the messy, hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking stuff that happens when you’re chasing something big. And so the podcast was born. With zero script, a couple of microphones, and one rule: always keep it real.
LOOKING BACK ON OUR FIRST EPISODE
The very first episode was called: “From Stay-at-Home Mom to Real Estate Powerhouse”
It was a raw, unfiltered look at how both of us started:

We shared the truth about building something out of nothing — the breakdowns, the breakthroughs, and the belief that it’s all figure-out-able.
That first episode set the tone for everything that followed: no fluff, just truth.
MEET COLLEEN AND KIM
COLLEEN BASINSKI
Colleen is the definition of grit with glitter.
Once a homeless single mom with a baby and no clue how to start, she’s now a multi-state real estate powerhouse, business coach, and the founder of multiple companies — including The Forward Group at REAL Broker. But her success didn’t come easy. She clawed her way up, one closing, one client, one comeback at a time.
She’s recruited and trained thousands of agents, coached top performers, and spoken on national stages — but at the end of the day, she’s still that girl who remembers what it’s like to be broke, scared, and just trying to make it all work. What drives her? Family. Legacy. And the unshakable belief that if she could do it — so can you.
When she’s not coaching or negotiating deals, you’ll find her blasting country music, loving on her grandson Juju, road-tripping with Bart, or sipping tequila with Kim while plotting their next big idea.
Known for: bold truth bombs, contagious energy, fierce loyalty, and reminding women they are powerful as hell.
KIMBERLY NEILL
Kim is that friend who brings the fire and the fun.
She’s equal parts chaos coordinator and badass boss — juggling three boys, a real estate career, a million text threads, and somehow still showing up with lip gloss, sarcasm, and a plan.
She started real estate during nap times, building her business one late-night CMA and one diaper change at a time. She didn’t have a roadmap — just grit, hustle, and a don’t-mess-with-me determination.
Today, she’s co-leader of The Forward Group, master of client care, and the voice of reason (or sarcasm) when things get messy. Kim isn’t here to sugarcoat anything — she’ll tell you the truth, call you out with love, and crack you up while doing it.
Known for: quick wit, sharp instincts, loyal friendship, and always having a snack or a backup plan in her giant mom bag.

Together? They're unstoppable. Best friends turned business partners, Colleen and Kim are the heart behind Do Epic Sht* — bringing years of experience, real-life lessons, and late-night rants to every episode.
They don’t pretend to have it all figured out. They just show up — real, raw, and ready to talk about the stuff most people won’t.
Whether they’re navigating parenting, pricing strategies, grief, growth, or gut-check moments in business — they’re doing it together… and inviting you along for the ride.
Because around here, we don’t gatekeep the good stuff. We share it. Loudly.
We work ‘til we drop. We laugh ‘til we can’t breathe. We pour every ounce of ourselves into our clients, our families, and our team.
And when the work is done… we dance, we sing, we pack up the RV and head for the beach, the country, or whatever road trip calls next.
We’ve camped in South Dakota for Rock the Country, crushed Vegas conferences with our crew (and maybe a few blackjack tables), chased sunshine in Venice Beach and Fort Myers, kayaked with manatees in Crystal River, and watched pole vaulting competitions at Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West (yes — just watched, not jumped ).
We’ve canoed the Mississippi in Galena, survived questionable golf outings, and built a friendship anchored in music, memories, and margaritas.
We’ve both won big. Lost big. Rebuilt from nothing. And gotten back up more times than we can count. We’ve cried through heartbreak and laughed until we busted a gut.
This podcast is just the latest adventure — a love letter to the messy, beautiful, bold women out there doing the damn thing. We show up real, because real is what we needed when we were starting over. And if we can help even one woman believe in herself again, then every sleepless night and road trip rant was worth it.
